I would like to see us reduce our state government by eliminating one of the houses and making the remaining legislatures part time. Schools and city governments are taking huge cuts to fix the economic situation. Let's let the state government take the cut. We don't need both houses at the state level anyway. I agree. California would not be in an economic crisis if we went to a single house state government and had the remaining house be part time.
